Good morning mingle friends... Hope you are all keeping warm..  Very cold here and snow again tonight...
My daughter in PA was in a bad car accident last night on her way home from work.. She was only about a mile from home and stopped for a light when a semi hit her. It was icy and he tried to go around her but hit her anyway and knocked her sideways and then another car hit her. She had to be cut out of the Explorer but was not hurt bad. The ambulance attendants said the airbags and belts probably saved her life.... She called this morning and said she is banged up pretty good, had a dislocated finger and her knees were pretty sore from hitting the dash..Said she was taking her "happy pills" as the dr ordered..lol I'm feeling better now that I've talked to her... Don't know you but glad your daughter is okay. Sometimes kids scare the doo-doo out of us! |

Carole. I am so glad that your daughter was not seriously hurt. Make ure she keeps an eye on those knees and follows through with check ups. I ended up with surgery on my knee 4 years after having it damaged in an accident. Also advise her to take pictures of all her bruises in case she has to present any evidence if it would go to a court case.
I will keep her in my prayers for a speedy recovery

Hi everyone, thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers for my daughter..
She is doing ok, just pretty sore.. She said they xrayed her from top to bottom and there was nothing broken or anything internal going on..
We already have had ice and now snowing, my son has worked 16 hrs today (he's a supervisor for Ohio Dept of Transportation.. He's worked a lot of overtime lately...lol Hope you that are in the cold weather are keeping warm.. I've had a long day and I'm off to bed... Nite all |
