it's a blessing and a curse. I look much younger than I am - I look like I'm in my mid to late 30s (so I've been told). I'm in my fifties - only issue is that once guys find out how old I really am they lose interest in me as anything but as a friend, Not all of them obviously, but some do, and it 's always disappointing to think a guy is into u and then he changes his mind as soon as he finds out my age. Doesn't make me think well of men in general actually - I have never attempted to hide that I am in my fifties - so that is not part of the issue - it is strictly their (men) reaction to it. Maybe I've just been meeting shallow guys, IDK???

BUT...

if I am sweet & sexy and all that other crap they tell me - that's not going to change because I'm older than they thoughtflowerforyou

and it's not just younger guys - as often as not it is men my age looking for someone younger

that's pretty cool

it is nice to look younger - even if it does surprise some of hte guys I talk to. I will focus on the ones who do not have an issue with that...

I took my son out for dinner on his 23 or 24th birthday and the waiter thought he was my date...that's actually happend with both of my older sonsslaphead

It's good that you have youth on your side. lol. Some would even say lucky. I don't understand why some people never age physically, or get wrinkles. Maybe it's genetic. Maybe it's hormonal. It's such a mystery.

it's genetic -when I was in HS people thought my mom was my sis - she had this beautiful thick auburn hair and NO wrinkles, no gray hair till she was well into her 60s

Same here....the genetic part. I can see the age, but others always underestimate my age by at least 10 years. That will change though. The grey has started creeping in.

just gonna add this quick cuz I have to ge t to work but I have this friend at work who has beautiful gray hair - it just matches her coloring so well - even tho she is completely gray she still looks really young because otherwise wh looks young

if the silver is natural tho it is often a tell tale sign as it usually doesn't happen till the 50s - except my dad was gray in his 40s, so was I - Igad a few gray strands in my 20s.....

so - one can start to gray very young
