I will be home with my kids, but popping on Mingle during Christmas Day. Don't worry, you'll have plenty of us to keep you company. We can even sing Christmas carols.

Thats kind of what i was hoping on,as long as there is people on and i know they care then i cant go wrong.I wont be lonely and i will feel loved who knows it might be the best Christmas i ever had lol.Thanks for stpping in,Martin

I didn;t want to do anything else - I had a couple of invites for turkey day but felt like if I couldn't have it the way I wanted, I didn;t want it at all. To this day I do NOTHING on Thanksgiving and it's been several years, and I WON;T do anything. some things just can't be substituted for

as it looks right now, I'm going to be home alone for Christmas. Was planning on going out to Hometown Buffet to have a Christmas meal. But saw a sign in there the other day that said they will be closed on Christmas

I am never alone. I always have me, myself and I. I am just bummed that my favorite Christmas movie "Mixed Nuts" which stars Steve Martin, Rita Wilson, Adam Sandler, Madeline Kahn, and Jon Stewart among others is packed up. It's about a suicide hotline at Christmas that is about to lose funding and there is a serial killer on the loose. It's a comedy. It's great fun. The actors are hilarious. Adam Sandler plays the ukelele and sings a love song. One of the guys gets hurt and it's Christmas eve so Steve Martin takes him to his friend who is a vet for stitches. Madeline gets caught in an old New York old apartment building kind of elevator for hours and it's pretty hilarious. Steve Martin is in love with Rita Wilson but as a decent nice guy doesn't know how to approach her.

There are a lot of us that will be spending this time of year alone,
Myself included but we always find something to occupy our time.I myself have no family left, So yeah it is a very lonely time of year.
But like others here I will be here for the holidays.Over the time I have spent here mingle has become my family, And I love my family very much.

I'm starting to realize this and it makes me sad in a way but it also makes me glad to know that we will all be on here at some point xmas day.Like i said earlyer who knows this might be one of my best xmas yet being with all of you.

nah ur not alone u got all ur friends on here to spend it with ya me i will be home that day evne though only part of my family will be here we still don't have our big family one till the weekend after so i will probably be on here most of that day

Ah buddy, i know what it's like, having to get rid of certain friends. I used to have a this certain friend at school who would go through my coat pockets, to see if i had any sweets. All she kept finding was reciepts instead. Haaaa. I could tell she was using me for what she could get from me. If she wasn't after my sweets, or my jewellery, she'd be asking to borrow money. I couldn't win. lol. Maybe in the end you did the right thing. Christmas should be cheering you up, not bringing you down. Well, at least you have US. So all is not lost. .
