Hmmm, maybe it was her. I'm just saying, if there is a big gap in the age difference between the man and the woman he most likely is looking for some woman to support him. Most of the men I've dated have been 5-6 years younger than me, that's ok. But 15-20 or more what could you have in common with each other but a good fling. Some women are ok with spending their money on men and taking care of them. My brother had one.

so this mythology of cougars developed to try to legitimize casual sex. And for sure there prolly are some older women like that

but I think most of us want the real thing as far as love & relationships....for me, anyway, the cougar thing is just fun goofing around. As stated in my profile I am not into casual at all

Well, all I have to say is (from my perspective) is a cougar is someone who would desire a bit more affection and romance from a younger guy--I guess depending if the chemistry is there. Isn't that the key? Chemistry?

Well, I never got into dating younger guys as it just never appealed to me. I like hanging with them as they are easier to talk to. They can accept me serving in the military, being independent, being equal to them, able to defend myself, able to lift heavy objects or renovate my house on my own. and don't try to shove chivalry down my throat. I have some great friends with younger guys as they truly do understand me and accept me for who I am.
