No, I'm not a poet.
and YES,,I do so,, KNOW-IT!
I've been put down, passed around.
Been made fun of, and called names.
Some don't like my type,
some don't like my English Skills.
Always some kind of hype.
But these words don't pay my bills.
THEY,,just give me my reasons to write.
To receive emails, from people in another Country.
Who found something I wrote, their light.
To be told by many through the years,
they only remain on this site,
to read all that I write.
No its not making me any money.
And its not making ladies call me honey.
But its making me feel good inside.
Just knowing that I inspired someone else.
To want to see me as a Man they can confide.
SEE,its not how clever I am, or my looks.
Its not me there on a cover of ANY books.
Its what they put in my heart.
That makes me feel a-PART.
So take all your degrees, your diploma.
All your fancy words, and go-home-a.
One smile while their reading me.
I feel so blessed inside.
One Email telling me, thank you.
Makes me stay up late,
writing the next one, all the way through.

Dude, you rock and you've always been super supportive. Your insight and your kindness is the genuine article. Don't ever stop living the life full of love and writing about it.

you also write from the heart,,so this was received very humbly by me. And you man,,IF I was to give YOU any advice at all from my heart to yours. It would be to NOT STAND IDLE,,and MAKE YOU HAPPEN!,,Don't waste your compassions writing on Internet sites,,Make the companies who promote new talent in writing..make them SEE your work,,and NEVER LET THEM DISCOURAGE YOU...
I am by far no experts on writing and to be real with you,,I have never ever read one book..BUT,,,I KNOW PEOPLE and WHAT THEY FEEL INSIDE,,and your words make them,-------STOP, and re-live SOME moment they have also lived through..And THAT in it self is a true Art to posses, and use....Your young and very talented,,,life is HERE for you to GRAB HOLD and to be MORE,,that more I feel,,you deeply desire,,but on suffice feel you don't really have..
believe me when I say that the ones who read your work, ALWAYS FEEL some part of them,,within it..Now maybe I and you grew up in the same white trash hoods,,but,,I DON'T feel that in your person at all,,I feel your folks or,,who raised you,,had money?
SO,,IF thats the case,,then YOUR able to cross the boundries of those who have be-friended you through real and read lifes drama's.
And if all of this is spot on,,YOUR FREAKING AWESOME as a writer..
