1 pack of medium size whole mushroom

rinse,pat dry..remove stems..throw stems away

Set them on a greased cookie sheet

Preheat oven to 400

For the stuffing..start by cooking up 1 package of Oscar Meyer original bacon..Any other brand doesnt work as well--Cook the bacon until its done, not burnt-It will cook the rest of the way in the oven

In a large mixing bowl-add 1 package of Philly cream cheese (softened),3 tablespoons italian breadcrumbs,2 tablespoons parsley,2 tablespoons minced onion,1 tablespoon garlic powder,1 teaspoon paprika and a dash of salt..Mix well.Drain the bacon..and with kitchen scissors cut bacon up into the stuffing..mix it again

Using your fingers or a small rounded spoon..add enough stuffing to just fill the mushroom caps..You dont wanna overload them..Drizzle just a tad of olive oil over the mushrooms and bake for 20-30 minutes in center of oven.allow mushrooms to cool slightly before serving.Enjoy!

I make mine with crabmeat, herbed stuffing and onions topped with butter and then baked. The bacon might be an interesting change happy
