I'm new here, so thought I'd say hello. I have three lovely teenagers. They are growing up and I thought that it's time to think abt what I want. I want a decent Christian man! Do you think there are any out there?

Best to find one in church, if you can find an available one. You could try the religion chat.

There is a Christian Site you can pay for that they advertise on here. But I do not think it is wise to pick a guy based on religion alone. I am Jewish and have a very powerful belief in god and spirituality but I grew up with nice Catholic boys and I often date them and do things like babble to St. Anthony when I lose something. My step brother, Jerry, is a Wiccan and no that is not a witch so I do things like burning cleansing incense and I carry a rose quartz angel in my pocket.

I go to church and it seems like it mostly couples there. I actually think there are only a few single people left in our church and they are all female, so all the guys are married or engaged.
I myself am not really looking for someone, I figure if it happens then it happens. My children are 23 and 17...so soon it will just be me and my cat, I think I like that!!! I am in NO big hurry to find a man any time soon.

There are some really decent guys on here with various versions of belief systems. I think if you are open to the idea of coverseing with someone you will find someone with enough in common to develope a relationship.

Defineing one's faith is pretty emcompassing but if something is important to you you might want to put a paragraph in your profile about it.

Telling your faith partners that you are looking for a mate will also make more people with common "markers" available to you. Also volunteering or attending state or regional meetings for singles of your faith will help.

Habitat for Humanity is not assigned to any one faith but many of their participants are religious.

Some of the poetry treads reflect peoples feelings about faith also. You see something that jives with your beliefs just comment on the post and a conversation will develope.
