I am glad most people are descent amd think everyone deserves to see a Dr. when they are ill.

However it comepletely makes me ill to see so many heartless selfish and greedy people we realy have in this country.

It realy isnt that hard to have a little compassion, one has to picture a child who never asked to be born into this world now suffering because one or both their parents lost a job.

Most of the free world has healthcare for its people, hell even in the communist world.

Only in Uber america do we think healthcare is a for profit industry.

It is not about lack of compassion, actually it is just the opposite...spin won't change facts...and no one in the FREE world has FREE healthcare....Obamacare is flawed, our Country cannot support it as it is written....

this country is flawed, the mentality that people's health is about money is flawed...
we will pay a big price for putting politics and money before human need.
decades of corperate media and brainwashing has killed off some peoples ability to think things through to their logical conclusion.
Me thinks the Unions have done an even better Job at it with their constant droning about Entitlement!
Please elaborate and be specefic.
you're a Union-Man,you ought to know!
Yes Mr. Conrad I am union man cadilac healthplan so why should I care?

Simple realy.

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Free Healthcare my Foot!
Go look at the Taxes even a workingman Pays in Countries with supposedly "Free Healthcare"!
And it's becoming dismal!
Your simply uninformed again Mr Conrad.
What do americans pay for healthcare? call it a tax or call it a bill, it doesnt matter you are correct though it isnt free.

The fact is Mr Conrad we have the most expensive healthcare in the WORLD. period.

because we have to make the middle men rich, we have made them so rich they can afford to own the media and control the information people get to make decisions. I would suggest that if you care to pass some time makeing comments that you should at the verry least inform yourself on the topics of the day.

If our system is so damn good Mr Conrad why is it the most expensive in the world and yet we are ranked around 27th in terms of actual care?

One can call the expense a tax and make it available to all who pay taxes or one can have the money taken out of your check by a corperation that insists on greater profits every year at the expence of your health.

Personaly I would benefit from the way it is now because I pay like eighty bucks a month for a cadilac plan that has a mere ten dollar out of pocket expense to me at each dr visit.

But I know people who cannot afford six or eight hundred dollars a month for a family plan and go without one.

Pay the tax man who does not need to make a profit or pay a private corperation gambling on your health to make a profit, it realy is a no brainer wich one will be more ethical.

With that my time spent educationg you is done for a while.

Oh and mr Conrad in closeing, when they go for the old people who are no longer productive and decide to ax medicare and social security I will be out there speaking for you as well.

We are all in this together even when it is unrecognised by the greedy and selfish among us, we all benefit from a descent society that attempts to take care of those who are less fortunate.
Great how you gloat about your Special Healthcare privileges!
So you really think it could be done at Eighty bucks for the General Public?
Hahaha!
You'll find out,and quite soon!
That's a Promise you can take to your Union-Boss!

The Unions of today have become the problem,as sure as the Guy who is sitting presently in the White House.
But the Loot is running out!
Check overdrawn!

I am not gloating about my healthcare plan Mr. Conrad I am stateing the fact, plain and simple.

It is a benefit negotiated on my behalf by my union.
I m sure we gave something for it, like more liberal work rules or a decreased hourly rate, it was not a gift.

We have the largest disparity of wealth in this country since the era of the robber barons in the 1900's and you claim its the unions fault? a totaly absurd way of thinking.

Somehow the rich have gotten richer while the rest of us got poorer and its the unions fault?

No Mr Conrad the fault lies on the 1% just as it allways has and that 1% can be certain that they can whip up the most gullible among us into a frenzy against some percieved threat, they were even able to manipulate you agaisnt the idea of a fair liveing wage for a fair days worth of work.

What a radical concept.

glad your ill, because obamacare will never work. and it is all about the money. if this does go through, all the stupid people that have a simple stomach ache or something just as simple well be running to the doctor or emergency room.. and who will be paying for that? the only ones to profit off of this is the healthcare and pharmaceutical companies... that's what their dream is, to make everyone in America a hypochondriac.

According to Obama's own statistics, created Obamacare to help about 3% of the citizens. There were simple, free market solutions that would have improved the healthcare system, dropped the price of healthcare and re-inserted competition into the system. What he got is this monstrosity with "bombs" in it that are used to destroy private companies and hurt people.

What would have been the harm in making it so that healthcare was tax deductible, PERIOD. Regardless of if it came through your employer or not.

What would have been the harm in making it legal to buy health insurance from any health insurance company in the country, instead protecting insurance companies from competition?

What would have been the harm in establishing some tort reforms to cap maximum damages? How about changing the law to make it so that the loser of a legal case has to pay the legal fees of the winner?

People who were concerned about the healthcare of the 3% could form charities to assist with paying for their healthcare. Anyone not covered by their own insurance or by insurance provided by a charity could be put into a medicare type system.

What would have been the harm in "reading" the bill before he signed it? grumble

Here’s an example: For months, health insurance brokers and salespeople have been lobbying to have the commissions they earn for selling an insurer’s program to consumers be included as a ‘medical expense’ for purposes of the rules. HHS has, today, given them the official thumbs down, as well they should have. Selling me a health insurance policy is simply not the same as providing me with the medical care I am entitled to under the policy.

This is right. Salesmen's commissions are not healthcare.

That was then (nazi)...

This is now.

First they came for the smokers.
Then then came for the gas users and car owners.
Then they came for the sugar users and eaters of good food.
but still it was not enough to tax (for they sought to spend even more)...
So again they came for the smokers.(and you all turned a blind eye).

Yet still it was not enough...

so now they come for the rich.

and you still turn a blind eye.

What will you do when they come for you.

And tax the very air you breath.

realy Madam? we have something like 80 million americans without health insurence, does that bring you pleasure?

We have the largest disparity of wealth since the 1900's and the age of the robber barons does that put a twinkle in your eye?

The productivity of the american worker has never been higher yet each year hard working americas are loseing ground against inflation, is that your ideal society?

Now more than ever we need unions to keep a level playing field.

Its not a coincidence that the demise of the unions have allowed the rich to get richer and working people pooorer.
