Cast away in the darkness
are the things that didn't come true.
Put away in the emptiness
are all my thoughts of you.
Hidden behind the shadows
are the tears I had to cry.
Lost in all the memories
are the questions wondering why.

Alone in the crowd
not being aware of what is around,
trying to relive a past,
not wanting to believe you had let me down.
Trying to forget about all the promises,
there had been to many lies.
No need now to want to change it,
It was just best to say GOODBYE!
