How blessed am I upon this day
To be raising my son and getting to play
To be buying a home of our very own
How blessed am I because with God I am never alone

How blessed am I that I can see
Or extend an arm in praise to thee
To walk a mile or share a thought
Lord I've been blessed quite a lot

How blessed to have a grateful heart
My friends on Mingle and a brand new start
How blessed to have a full belly
Even if it jiggles like a bowl of jelly

To be surrounded by family and friends
Knowing that if my time ever ends
I have the ability to truly see
How blessed Am I being just 'silly ol me'
