When mending a broken heart,
The World seems shattered, twisted,
torn apart.
Everything stands still,
as your mind, body and soul,
yearns for will.
People say,
time will make it all turn-out right.
As you live each day, lost, dazed,
struggling, with all your might.
Trying to cope and understand,
dissecting every fault, every strand.
All, that felt so right,
making love, sharing every night.
Two souls joined in ecstasy.
Now feeling all that, my misery..
Wanting to run forward as fast as I can.
To get away from this broken hearted man.
Yet my running, turns into small single steps.
Looking back on all my regrets.
Cranking-up the volume,
on every tearful sad song.
Knowing now she's not coming back.
Just left me hear dragging along.
What sweet sorrow, this day,
flowing into tomorrow.
Time, like an unbarible weight.
Love dying so slowly,
in my voided love fate. brokenheart

Great poem. Powerful but also tragic. Well done. Most poems succeed because they are usually written out of our life experiences or the ability to communicate the emotive side of the soul to the audience.
