I am a smoker and I enjoy it but maybe we need a ban.

We Ban Pot and where are all the cancers from smoking POT?

No I have a different reason doing some studying on smoking taxes.

I found out that most of the Tax goes in a MSA "Master Settlement Agreement"

well the brass tax is.. this MSA is over 25 years that the Tobacco companies put in this fund.. 260 billion +.. These are payments to the states. VOLUNTARILY proposed by the big 4 tobacco companies.

really tricky stuff. they proposed to capp all future payments to individuals tort law suits that the money would be devided among the states instead.

maybe someone knows more about this and will post.

but in a nutshell our govt. is tied to the Big 4 tobacco companies staying in business and making a profit for the states to get thier settlement reward the Big 4 so Suprisingly upped the stakes with a wierner on a stick to the states.. no more litigating.. this is good for everybody.

so to get money to help the medical costs of smokers.. The Tobacco companies must stay in business.

Ain't that Special..

Lets fool them.. VOTE TO OUTLAW TOBACCO 2012

that will go futher towards our HEALTH

The government is very smart..

They use tobacco taxes to fund healthcare programs like SCHIP.

Here in Maryland they decided to open casinos to fund education..

It is only a matter of time until "illicit" drugs are legal and taxed to fund infrastructure repairs.

Maybe legalizing prostitution and taxing it can pay for Medicare..

The endless possibilities..

No Taxation without Representation..

A Tea Party Theme.

We have not had representation when a lawsuit settlement is only good if the losing party stays in business.

Who's being Represented here?

we are the ones who pay for it and the smoking owners who have enstigated unreasonable tax demands on the smokers when the Govt. is scrabbling as it was in jan 2009 over what we are in already.

as bad as we are told Smoking is and is a gateway to other more potent adult regression.

Banning should be a logical step foward because U and Me did not make this agreement with the Big 4 tobacco king pins.

Wouldn't our congressmen scramble when Wall street starts to cry FOUl because the American People have a Tobacco Ban punished the same way pot is on the ballat.

The Big 4 own alot of the land they get tobacco from.

How many people do you know working in the Tobacco industry?

YOu convience store? don't think it would hurt thier jobs any.

Lets show them who WE THE PEOPLE really is and start with a simple admendment that the Big 4 will be the losers. How much Politioning might get done.
