About three weeks ago I had a dream where I was asked if I would adopt a new cat into my cat family.

In the dream I was in a place where there were hundreds of cats, all needing a home. I had a guide in the dream.

I told him I couldn't take all of these cats and I didn't know which one to choose.

I was shown the cat. My guide in the dream said, "This one."

It was a golden and black female. She was beautiful.

I asked why this particular cat?

The guide told me "This one is special."

I picked it up and found a tattoo on the cat. It said "Ruby."

14

I knew people don't tattoo their cats, so I took that to mean that would be her name.

(The 14 was typed by Ruby as she jumped off my shoulder onto the keyboard)

****

Today I was walking the dogs and I found her crying for someone to save her. She was all alone and hungry.

I found my Ruby!

Pictures will follow.

I have been given advanced notice of other animals coming into my life via dreams.

This one dream about Ruby was so prominent in my waking life, I knew as soon as I said "yes" I would take her in if she came to me, that I was going to get another cat.

I told my sisters about the dream and told them I would be getting another cat and I described her.

She is a beautiful gold and black calico female. Her name is Ruby.
I don't even get to choose the name.

She is a kitten. She can drink and eat and does not have to be bottle fed. She likes to follow me everywhere, wants to type on my keyboard, and she likes to drink out of my tea glass. She is sitting on my desk.

She just seems so happy to have found a home she won't let me out of her site. I've only had her for three hours.

Here is her picture, sleeping on my desk.

That is a cap I won on a bus going to Cripple Creek.

That's wonderful, Jeannie! Can't wait to see photos.

I've always had a feeling when someone was going to join the family, but I usually dream of their leaving, when it's time for them to pass on, and they'll visit later.

Thanks, I didn't know what kind of cat she was except a calico. The picture is a bit over exposed so her color is not shown well. Her fur is a beautiful gold color.

She is already taking over the house and me. She cries when I get up to leave.

Every female rescue I take in costs me about a hundred dollars for spay and shots. I received some of that money today when I got an order for a deck of tarot cards that I sell.

God and his universe provides.

I'm so smitten with my new kitten !! smitten smitten

a message from Ruby on the keyboard: I put the enter in so it would not mess up the thread.

What a cutie!!

Have you looked in to any low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinics in your area?

There is a vet 50 miles from here that I really like and he is cheaper than most, but there are no low-cost clinics around here.

I was thinking that I needed a little more money for the cat when i sold another deck. Now it is covered.

Ruby is fearless. She does not run from my dogs or my other cats. She puffs all up into a Halloween cat and approaches them slowly as if she is trying to scare them away. I am keeping her away from everyone else so far, not letting any other cats into the house.

My main worry is one cat I have who I call "agent 99." She is the bad girl bird assassin who wants to be the ruling female. I think she is about to meet her match with Ruby as soon as Ruby gets full grown. laugh
