I went to lunch today as usual and got in the cafeteria line to pay, only to find that a co-worker had already paid for my lunch. What a cool surprise and a nice gesture!

I have next week off, and I wanted to make sure the guy who's covering for me wasn't gonna be buried with too much of my unfinished work. My Friday High happened when I realized that I was surpassing my goal of how much I could get done today - and also the pride of having done an insanely humanly impossible amount of work.

had a couple of my favorite dogs at work today, which is always a pick-me-up.... and then i went to lunch with a coworker, and shared A TON of laughs

My daughter took me to dinner tonight.. We had a great time and lots of conversation.. Don't get to do that often enough!
