Gone but not forgotten,for all you meant to me
lost you that tragic day
that will forever go down in history
sweet and precious are the memories
I hold dear to me.
We lost you unexpectedly
The shock,the hurt,the misery
crying wails of agony
The news it brought the world to see
the life we fear "reality"

Gone but not forgotten
the tears I can no longer hide
on this day of remembrance
that soon will pass us by
In silent prayers
for theirs souls to hear.

Gone but not forgotten
'sad" But true; they say
time will heal the hurt inside
I know this to be true
for all the love I carry
each day that I go through
But time can't fill the emptiness
of each day, I live here
with out you.

I stand here again, like so many
has on this day, to each their own
graved in stone, a name is shown
a love one taken, on that tragic day
and now you lay beneath
a grassy nole
flowers left around your grave.

Gone but not forgotten
no four words
could mean much more
I miss you, still and forever will
My love for you has no end
and in till then
I'll meet you when
my journey ends
you will be
