There are so many and one need to sort out crap from decent stuff.

Just wondering..How well are Americans informed of what goes on in their country especially with regard to Foreign Policy. We get the feeling at this side of the world that Americans in General are kept in the dark. How true or false is that.

I have been in contact with some Americans who never heard of Noam Chomsky for instance.

I've heard of Noam Chomsky and watched many of his interviews and lectures, but as stated, I don't look to the MSM for my news.

I do like PBS and Democracy Now when I get the chance to turn on the TV, but usually it's NOVA, science channel or A&E.

Hard to sit and watch anything even on cable anymore due to 10 minutes of programing and 50 minutes of commercials for bank cards, drugs with bad side effects, new cars, real estate brokers and their loan companies (more banks), annuity buyers, gold buyer ripoffs, insurance brokers, ambulance chasers, reality show BS, computers, and designer this and that! I like my brain cells functioning for independant thought when needed. laugh

If by "news" you mean a factual, unbiased recounting of events, there is no such thing in this country. I prefer to read foreigners' perspective of US and world events. qip.ru, novisti.ru, etc. Well-reasoned opinions are found on mises.org and lewrockwell.com.

theonion.com is actually more factual than most MSM. laugh rofl

First I check out MSNBC's corrupt version of the news.

Then I check with CNN's corrupt version.

Then with ABC's corrupt version.

Then Fox's corrupt version.

then I proceed to several international corrupt versions.

Once I have combed these corrupt news services...

arnt' they all that way?

I bounce them all up in the air and let the crap blow away.

somewhere in their is a real picture of truth.
