I can say that being optimistic has helped with dating, because I at least go into things looking for something good. Does it always happen? No. But, I'd rather do that than just assume things will go wrong from the beginning.

A skeptic, a cynic, a questioner. Lex those were not any of the 3 choices. LOL But ok, of the 3 you listed, how do they help or hinder in dating? Well, I guess I'd have to say I'm skeptical/cynical about the whole dating concept. I suppose that could be seen as "pessimistic" but I prefer to see it as realistic. Dating, per se, requires two people (at the very least), and I haven't been able to find a second person in the last three years. Well it took me 5 years, I know that is not a magic number, but I as an realist belive that given the probibliity that the one for you is not on line or found mingle just yet, it will happen for you given more time. Just always stay just as you are. I've always believed in that, too, but that's why I can't find anybody....!
