A Cautionary Tale:

I run off on tangents
Sometimes big and
sometimes quite small.

I am in love for love's sake.
And the romance of it all.

I often fall quite hard and fast
and don't think about
where it will end.

I dream of running off
to all parts around the bend.

But in the end,
I always come
back to the reality
that I love Ventura
this city by the sea..

I refuse to leave my condo
and my little dog, Darcy.

So if you think of wooing me
just protect your heart.
Because many men have tried
but from this life I won't part.

It doesn't mean that your not special
or that I don't care.

It's just the nature of the beast,
and of this, you should be aware.
