I hope you are not going there after a girlfriend you met on the internet. It is a huge trap. I know guys who have done it and it ends up badly. There are perfectly good Phillipino women in the US already. No need to import anybody.

Probably much cheaper in Manilladrinker

I have a childhood friend there.
He's got 3 kids and he's trying to scam folks for money with promises of payment in hidden Japaneses Gold.
That is, if he ever finds it.slaphead
All I sent was a get well soon card.tongue2

If you ended it there, I would not have any problems with what you've said. I would even agree to a certain extent, but when you continued on with:

There are perfectly good Phillipino women in the US already. No need to import anybody.

That's when it rubbed me the wrong way. Are you singling out Filipino women? If someone said they'd be taking an Aussie or English girl back to the US, would you have said nothing?

A lot covered in this topic. So much to see. Amazing people, even the thugs showed me love. Been in and around Manila, various provinces around Luzon. I will certainly return, Visayas region is next. I would like to get to know and befriend Cebuana who will accompany me and maybe if I'm lucky, she may be the one I fall in love with. Pinay are so beautiful and really well mannered.

A Filipino’s way of living is quite simple: contented and happy of whom they are. Being the only Catholic nation in Asia, most people are deeply religious. Filipinos are mostly hard-working and the values of education are instilled /passed on from generations. English is part of national curriculum, so the majority of people can read, write and communicate in English. Modesty aside, our neighbouring countries normally come to the Philippines to: enroll in various courses, invest in businesses, settle for good and/or study English.

Filipino’s are very hospitable, fun loving, industrious, loyal, respectful and friendly. You will surely enjoy your visit to the country, much more if you will know the people and our culture. You will see how Filipinos, materially do not possess much, but are still very happy. As I always say to my friends, no matter what part of the planet we may be, there will always be good and bad apples.

I am agree,absolutely right!!!flowerforyou

Yes a truly resourceful and hospitable race. Be sure if travelling there...WAVE DOWN A JEEPNEY! They are absolutely everywhere, they are all very individual, cheap fare, also very social when handling the fairs (passing money through other passengers to get to the driver and getting your change back). When its time to get off yell PARA the driver will stop immediately...anywhere, even in the middle of congested traffic. So awesome. History of jeepneys is really insightful too. I'm so impressed with their cooling systems in that heat.

Sounds nice :) And don't worry, I'm not one of those drunken tourist's that gets all loud after a few Vodka's. lol. I don't get why some tourist's feel the need to go for sex, if they can just as easily get it at home. I like to spend my time admiring the place. Always loved japanese way of life. Everything about it, in fact. Hope I get to visit some day :)
