Lipsky: Obama Making Same Mistakes That Led to Great Depression

The United States is in danger of a long recession because President Barack Obama is making the same errors as those that led to the Great Depression, journalist and author Seth Lipsky told Newsmax.TV in an exclusive interview.
Lipsky, founder and editor of the New York Sun and a former Wall Street Journal reporter, also says the country needs to reform its monetary system and return to constitutional money based on gold and silver.
He explains that fiscal and monetary policies have seriously weakened the dollar over the last decade, andnow it's up to Congress to do push through meaningful reforms to stop it.

The Iraq mistake

All those smart senators and brilliant retired generals (thank God theyare retired) who oppose President Obama's troop withdrawal schedule from Iraq and say it is toosoon, seem to have forgotten that every indicator made it abundantly clear we never should have gone to war with that country in the first place. No weapons of mass destruction, no intent to purchase uranium from Africa, no intent by that nation of 23 million to attack us and our 300 million. How would Saddam's troops have reached our shores? By swimming?
How long should it take us to recognize our mistake? Another eight-plus years? More thousands of American troops' lives, more trillions of dollars?

Obama did not expect to get to this junction. The man who believes that inthe modern world there is no place for tyrants and dictators, oppressors and oppressed, occupiersand occupied, the man who truly wanted to bring an end to the occupation and conflict and whose worldview espouses the notion that there will be no calm in the Mideast without a Palestinian state – will now have to impose a veto on the Palestinian request.

Everyone's a critic.

Obama is in office because look what we had running against him.

An old man with a bad heart and a crazy woman from the wilderness as next in line for the Presidency when he croaked.

The financial state this country is in cannot be blamed on Obama. He inherited the mess and you all want to blame him for it.

Congress blocks everything he tries to to.

Do you really think our men and women of the United States military and the 100,000,000 gun owners in this country are going to allow the NWO to happen?
