The people in my neighborhood are very spooky. We were trick or treating last year and stumbled into a few houses that scared the poop out of us....it was actually kind of fun...in a psycho murderous type way...LOL

Out here we have an old abandoned cavalry fort from the 1800's...only chimenys and fireplaces. It is actually called Fort Phantom next to a lake called Lake Fort Phantom. Every once in a while people claim to see a pale woman in a pale dress gliding across the lake and then sink into the water.
I ain't seen it but it persists. |

Haven't been to a haunted house for years that is probably because they are not scary enough, but I would have to say the one by me called Haiti's haunted house was the scariest so far

I think they do a haunted house around this time of year too. I think it's them. But I bet it would be VERY creepy! I saw a preview and I think the theme this year is about a man that sold his soul (or something) and then the objects in the house (like creepy dolls) killed him or something lol |

I have a friend on FB that is a real paranormal investigator and says 90% of the reports are fake but the other 10% are very real!! she has some facisnating pics of what her group has taken in the south, most of them at Civil war sites where thousands of men were killed and wounded and buried in makeshift graves that were never found!!

I do some paranormal investigating, and I think my favorite place I've ever been is an old Oddfellows home in Missouri that's been renovated into a winery. There is also an abandoned nursing home, hospital, and bunker on the premises. The main building throughout the years has housed a poor farm during the Depression, an orphanage, and was a school for the local children at one point. LOTS of activity at that place, especially, from my experiences, in the old nursing home.
But I think I may be a magnet for ghosts..my earliest memories include the ghostly figure of a man who I regularly saw in the corner of my bedroom. ANd that was just the beginning. lol |

My ex's friend and his wife have a really gnarly haunted house out in Santa Clarita which is so scary I won't go in it. It is worse than Knott's Scary Farm and Steve and Wendy would torture me if I went in. It's open to the public every year. They spend thousands on commercial grade stuff. It's terrifying.
