the arrows point up....they face you as you insert the filter. but she's in Canada and everything is just the opposite up there Really??? women

what is it your trying to do Betty, just changing filters??? yes , I always bought the same kind my husband did and put them in the same way. Now I can't find that type anymore and I bought one last year that looked pretty close. Anyhow when Mark took out the old one he said it was in wrong and put the new one in the opposite way. Today I went to change the filter and never saw so much dust around the furnace before. Now I don't know what to do.

That shouldn't have happened....just make sure the size is right...and put the filter in the way you always have.

That shouldn't have happened....just make sure the size is right...and put the filter in the way you always have. Thats what I thought too. When Richard gets back from Pittsburg I will ask him.
