Topic: I thought he's the One | |

I'm back here after 4 years and 3 months of faithfully communicating with the guy I met on here, and whom I thought is the One..... Sadly, things turned out to be upside down, and now I am sensing that the relationship won't go anywhere.
Now, should I say I'm free? - I'm loving the word "MOVE-ON"! I just wish all the best to everyone |

With everything you seem to have going for you I would think a guy did not get his stuff straight and seal the deall after a year of courting it would be time to cut bait and move on. Life is too short to be left dangeling.
Good luck in your search. There are plenty of quality people on Mingle. Check out some of the forums. That is where you really find out what people are like. Make friends and you might have better luck. |

It's really sad - I have spent too much for it since LDR is known to be very expensive. I was even turned down with a US visa - a thing that added up to the frustrations. But well, I still know what the word "move-on" means, so life will go on. Thanks for those kind words. |

I am so sorry it didn't work out. You are too good a person to be hurt and I wish it had turned out differently. Take care of yourself.

Just go play lots of Tom Petty:
"Hey Baby...there ain't on easy way out.......hey baby....." "Gonna stand my ground...no I won't back down...." works for me anyway................ |

And might I add, I never look for "the one" I look for one of "the few" in my life. I think it's hard to make anyone and unfair "the one" person who fulfills everything and then if that person is yanked out of your life much more tragic than if your needs are getting fulfilled by "the few" and no I don't mean polyogamy : ) and I am sorry for your loss at any rate. Smooches as I commonly say to my friends and hugs.
P.S. I just realized being my friend sounds kind of like being in the Marine Corp. "The Few, The Proud, The People Terri Depends On..." |
