I honestly don't think I am quite as content as I would like to be, but on the whole, life's not too bad at all.  I am 99% content....after all I am part of the 99%!!!

I am a QA after the book "Quirky Alone: A Manifesto for the Uncompromsing (sp) Romantics". I love my life. I don't believe one person should fill every need you have. I don't believe that the yin yang thing of the universe exists only between two people. The exchange of feminine and male energies takes many forms. And you all know probably by now my theory about older people and dying people and military and such, better two seconds with god's best and brightest shining stars than an eternity with a jerk...... I have been to the mountain tops many times and the deeps of the valley only a few. I prefer to stay in the hills amongst the mountain tops. Most of my friends are literal genius or in other ways amazing and not around 24/7 so have been my love interests, I have always had enough people around to fulfill my needs in other ways...and no I don't mean cheating...and if you do not have a man to repair things get american home shield and if you want to feel safe learn martial arts, get a dog, and an alarm system and they make things that plug in and take batteries for the sex part...those are not the most important things about a man .... if you think they are...you are shallow..not saying anyone is shallow..I just know a lot of women who think they need men for repairs, protection, and sex....

I now live alone, I miss someone in my life, but I don't NEED anyone to do things for me. I have a tool box ( quite a few of them) and know how to use the tools in them. I even built a room on my house that I live in, it's not professional, but it doesn't leak and keeps the weather out. I'm fairly content in my abilities to do things. What I have trouble with, my 3 sons come and help. Even my Mingle friends have been here to help with things I couldn't get done by myself! So, yeah, I'm pretty content to have been Blessed by God, family and friends. |

Let me put my 2 cents in here for what it's worth! I've been around the block more than once, and have been to many dog and pony shows. When I was a teenager, my dad, said, other than God, no one will ever take care of all your needs. He was right. He taught me how to work on vehicles, how to shoot a gun, and how to LIVE! I always wondered why women my age(then and now) couldn't do the most simple things around their homes. Why did they need someone to fix an electrical plug or even change a light fixture???? I now live alone, I miss someone in my life, but I don't NEED anyone to do things for me. I have a tool box ( quite a few of them) and know how to use the tools in them. Though I will say.....I will not immasculate (sp -spell check does not know what I am trying to say) a man who wants to do manly things because I think that is wrong...he if is actually my boyfriend or whatever friend...I will let him but I don't NEED him and that is different......I mean if he's a stud muffin and wants to do whatever the stud muffin thing is if that is change a tire or defrag my computer...fine but he better let me if I want to brush the dog and bake brownies do the girl thing too....even if i can kick his butt...he has to pretend he doesn't know that...

Im pretty content right now, Im not well off finacially by any means but Im rich in the family and friends that I have and I may not have much but what I have is mine!!! I have my nature walks with cherokee that gives me the chance to appreciate whaT God has given me!! I just wish my Damn golf game would get better!!

I would not say that I am content with my life. I am happy with who I am and how I have lived my life to this point. Looking back I may not have made the right choices but getting here was a journey that made me who I am. I was a good wife and I am a good Mom and a good friend. I've always worked and have been considered an asset by my employers. But I suppose being human I will always want more so I will never be content. I want to be in a honest and loving relationship. I want to see my sons succeed in their professions, marry women who love them and someday enjoy spoiling grandchildren.

Yeah..some people are sweet on the outside and so mean spirited on the inside. Took me a long time to come to terms with this ,but now I have, and they lost the best friend they ever could have had. |

With who you are and where you are in your life? I'm with my people & my people are with me. I don't wish to think about where I reached, Leading few or lagging few,that isn't important for me,coz I believe in competing with myself. I try doing better today than I did yesterday,but I don't think much about tomorrow.As of today I'm not planning at all for better tomorrow. I know the path which I'm following,its a safe,secure way to leave a peaceful life. |
