Anything that begins with "illegal" is a bigoted article. There is not way around that. Criminals come in all types but most articles do not say for example WHITE GUY DRAGS KID DOWN THE STREET WHITE GUY BEATS WIFE WHITE GUY ROBS LIQUOR STORE WHITE GUY DRIVES WITHOUT INSURANCE AND CAUSES RATES TO BE HIKED WHITE GUY EMBEZZLES MILLIONS Which we know white guys and gals do all of the above and worse. But the damn articles never say so The term "illegal" is stating a fact, it is not stating a race. Clearly there is a difference between the two. I don't care what color anyone is, I care what they do if it is a crime. Any human of any race/color/religion could be guilty of illegal activity. We have a court system set up for it in case they do and get caught, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

well come on just cause the driver was an illegal this makes headlines however if the 11 yr old was an illegal and the driver was not no one would even care. and certainly no one would be blaming obama for it that's pretty insane aren't illegals committing a felony? he is already a FELON and should not be here a driver is responsible not to hit bike riders. He was a adult I presume. the girl on the bike was 11 those are separate issues anyway. It is unfortunate regardless of who the driver was but it is the driver's fault that he has come into this country as a felon, and he needs to go. he can start picking and choosing the laws he'd like to obey once he obtains citizenship

i like how people who hate undocumented immigrants refuse to say they're racists. i'll give you a nickel if you can say one good thing about a mexican you personally know. go. not at all racist here. had an hispanic BF in HS, and I have a spanish last name as a maiden name, but I am not a fan of illegals regardless of where they are from I do not know where all the Indians I know are from I say can one good thing about my friend from Panama - he was always willing to help me when we worked together and where I work now, there is a hispanic woman who is always nice to me, she has a great sense of style as far as her clothes my daughter in law is applying now for her green card and I'm sure the tongues are wagging....about that - she is one of the kindest and gentlest people I know and I am so relieved that my son is with a woman who will be good to him & respectful ( as she is thai and respect is everything in asia) but none of these folks are illegal and would not do that because they are not willing to be criminals

Your comment really doesn't deserve an answer but I will give you a glimpse of my history. If you knew me you would know what a fool you have made out of yourself with that statement you made. I have many friends that are different ethnicities, practice different religions or practice no religion. They include Vietnamese, Greek, Puerto Rican, Jews, athiests,and believe it or not....drumroll...Hispanic!! I was born and raised in Detroit and literally barely made it out alive. I have had many friends who were black and I was in the minority. We stayed while others fled, ever heard of White Flight? In this state where I currently live, my daughter's best friend was black and I used to say she was like my adopted daughter. She moved far away or else i am positive they would have remained good friends. By the way I was also friends with her mom. That is only some of my history, are you feeling foolish yet?

Actually one of my closest friends is both hispanic and gay not to mention he saved my life about two years ago. BTW, he is very Liberal but totally agrees that illegals need to be prosecuted and deported. I am far from racist. Learn about people before you make personal attacks.

It doesn't matter if it was an illegal or not. Just post the story without reference to the nationality of the criminal. It makes the story less bigoted and more empathizing. It is terrible when humans do terrible things to other humans. It is always amazing to see how really horrible we can be to each other sometimes. I did, look at the title of the thread, where did I put nationality? I didn't because it doesn't matter to me. Illegal is illegal.

Only those who are so self deprecating would need to pursue the ideal of immigrants in an immigrant created country as bad. I don't see them having a problem with their own "kind" only those who look different from themselves. These stories targeting a certain race or heritage are sick, ignorant and bring the human race down. AIMO Really? Canadian's look a lot like me but I am all for prosecuting and sending them hime if they are here illegally, same with European, Asian, Middle Eastern, African, Hispanic whoever it doesn't matter. Being illegal is illegal.

Do you know he is officially a Republican? There are pros and cons with every politician. I feel that his pros outweigh anything I may not like. I may not like the video but he will still get my vote. Officially he is a Republican because he knows he cant get re-elected to Congress or even elected to President if he isn't in one of the main stream parties. He is a Libertarian he also often switches parties when he doesn't get his way. There is a lot to Ron Paul you don't know. I've met the guy, I taled to him for close to 25 minutes and I know a lot about him and he is insane.

He is smart enough to realize he needed to be on the Republican ticket, so more power to him! What he hasn't changed are his views and his voting history proves that. He does not say one thing and do the opposite later. He stands firm and i could add something more about that but I won't, ha! If you want to spend the time to tell me why you think he is insane then please do so. It may take an insane person to get the job done right ;)

I live in a an East Indian neighborhood and my neighbors are the most wonderful people I have ever met. I have nothing but respect for them as the immagrated her legally, and legally is the operative word here. They abide by our laws, are hard working, and don't play the discrimination card. In Canada; we are spending a mass amount to remove the illegal immagrants from out country and ironically as they are being rounded up; we are finding more and more criminals in the group. I have nothing against anyone immigrating into our country as long as its legal, they aren't criminals, and that they have a job set up before they come here.

Although I would say a job or an education lined up since many student visa's are given out and I think thats a good thing(as long as they folow up and make sure the people are in actually school).
