A warm personality stalled in the making
Too much kindness, there for the taking
One giving gal in the shadows all alone
Words on her heart now etched in stone.
Never trust, never lose, never again
To feel her heart broken, she just cant win.
Always tried, but people lied
Now she is only tangled inside.
Its evidently clear, people dont care
Not one more tear shed anytime, anywhere
Shes resolved herself to go it alone
Not to open up, her hearts etched in stone.
Clenching fists is all she can do
Fighting the feelings she wont let thru
Its over and done with no one can break
Thru these shards of ice that make her shake
Clearly abundant a ground zero sight
Smoke from her wreckage, billowing high.
No visits please, no calls on the phone
Cant you see heart hearts etched in stone.
