I have but one
life left to live I’ve given up all the rest this day that comes will be profound you will see that I am forgone. Amongst the strife and the burning hell that wakes my soul from slumber yes you will see that I am found. Beneath the earth lies an angel’s wing that sings a song of glory it coalesces with my restriction I have but one life left to live. Its life of depravation is decaying slowly let me see the part that makes you weak. It allows me to see so clear my fate because I am a rhythmic betrayal. Yes you will see how I am chained to the walls that I’ve made out of stone. You will see how oft I mourn and visibly the birds that make me thaw though cold is the sea that wraps my flesh with nights that freeze the layers I augment. I am a bleeding scorching monster that sings all through the life that has but one left to live. Yet I have seen others fallen into cracks who lounge in hate they don’t see the power of rage because when I approach the fire I know how to not get burned when I taste the flickering embers my tongue has yet to bleed. The mountains of sand and the endless war I am caught in the crossfire was wrought by iron hammers into a crosspiece delicately sustained the voltage I induce when electrified transmits you a sharp jolt traveling through you like a slipstream of turmoil boiling all your nerves expelling groans. How gallant is a man that endures such torment? I am the guardian that tires. Rules do not listen to me and neither me to them if I ever find my buried rest then this life will be rectified held tightly in my arms I have but one life left to live. |
