Thank you guys. It was ok (as far as sales) I guess I shouldn't expect to sell everything huh? But it wasn't bad for my first one and getting myself out there.

It was at a church that I grew up in so I got to see a lot of familiar (but older) faces lol.

I did have 2 old high school friends (from 20 years ago) show up to support me. I think that was one of the best parts of the fair.

The 2nd best part was having my son come up (willingly) and help sell. He is a natural salesman. I was VERY proud of him and he even said he had fun. For a 20 yr old kid....that says a lot. He, also, got to meet his godfather for the first time since he was a toddler!

All the hard work, and time does indeed give you rewards. That is indeed grand news Kim.

Your NEXT one will be very relaxed now,,and more enjoyed because you've been there already and came through that ahhhhhhhhh,,lol

I wished I could have been there and bought one,,,then,,,I would always have it to remind me of its maker,,,,Hugs,,,,,

the best part was seeing old friends and meeting new people. Of course I'm still beaming with pride about my son. He's a good kid.

Kim,,there is no greater feeling inside as a parent,,than to see you child,,no matter their age,,,,being so GREAT,,around others and in THAT,,,they just GLOW,,from within,,because you like I,,,WE know all that we tried to give them growing,,,,,,WORKED!
I'd be DAMN PROUD TO!!!!

thats so cool. remember you have to be your biggest fan. You have to believe they are the best scented candles and sell them like they are. I am sure they are anyways. Good for you! Have fun....

2kids...at first I was disappointed (I usually expect the unrealistic lol) then I watched my son (who took off of work to be their for me and realized what it was all about. We were doing this with my mom and step dad. we made one big booth for both of us. It was a great time with family. We had a lot of fun. I enjoyed seeing people from my past (even though it made me feel old lol) and I was truly touched that there were people that came out there just to support me and cheer me on) My old friend (who is my son godfather) came out there even though I haven't seen him since 1998.

Those things made it all worth it. I did a good amount of sales, but even if I didn't sell a thing....family and friends made it all worth it

And then the encouragement from the Mingle family just adds to the joy. People who have known me for a long time, people that somewhat know me and people that may not know me at all....had great words of encouragement.
