Sounds as if the nail has detached from the "bed" which has healed & the nail cannot reattach itself. No doubt you have heard all that before though

Well yeah, but my Doctor thinks having surgery on it is my only hope. I hope it works. I feel like a freak.

Although the weather here is magnificent at present, it is supposed to take a turn for the worse later this afternoon, so perhaps I had better get away & get some work done

I was once told that the removal of nails is not a lot of fun. Hope this isn't what is being hinted at yes it is. It keeps growing back all deformed and detaches from the skin. So my Doctor is sending me to a plastic surgeon on wed. To see what he says. you had me worried for a bit

Aww sorry, but I am still worried lol. She ran all kinds of blood tests and an EKG. just in case there is some other medical issues. Hope not though.

What is it with doctors? when you feel sick they tell you nothing is wrong. When you feel fine they try and find something wrong.
