I keep mine on but never accept from someone that I don't know.

Well, it's a bit of a dilemma.

On the one hand, everyone who IMs me

a.) is a scammer, and

b.) has the language skills of three lima beans trapped in a padded envelope.

On the other hand, it may not be completely impossible that a non-scammer with more than seven functioning brain cells might actually use the IM to contact me one day.

And our Admins are really good about deleting scammers. So any viable means of identifying scammers is helpful insofar as removing bad accounts/members is concerned....
