Not a very exact way of judging how the American population feels about a subject.

I have seen the government lie too many times (and get caught red handed at it) to regard them as a "credible source." To the exact contrary. They are not credible in the least. The 9-11 commission is not a credible source. The Warren commission is not a credible source. When these so-called "credible sources" keep changing their stories, (a matter of record) they can't be considered credible. It is a world of false flag operations, and war. Accept it, get used to it, that's just the way it is.

They are above the law. There is nothing they will not do to further their agenda. Nothing.

The Official Version of 9/11 goes something like this…

I think there were two or three people passing themselves off as Oswald too, prior to the Kennedy assassination. I think that is done often. Hitler had several look-a-like pretenders too.

No there's a good reason they don't investigate into it, THEY'RE ALL IN ON IT. They aren't gonna out each other.

Amen. The mainstream media and the government along with it has long since been bought and paid for. The only places you will find the entire truth of things are in the alternative sources like the internet. You'll never get it from the big ones. As the saying goes: The revolution will not be televised.

I just finished reading just about every page on that site I listed above. Although I will admit I was lost during the more scientific information. I thought the author was very level headed and did a good job of presenting all the facts with tons of footnotes. He debunked some of the information floating around out there. For instance, some of the passengers may actually have been able to make those calls from cell phones in planes.

After reading this site I am more convinced that this whole thing wasn't just allowed to happen by our government, but it was actually orchestrated by them.

It took me several hours reading yesterday and several hours reading again today to go through all the information. I think most people are not going to be willing to put in the time necessary to find the truth. It's easier to believe the lie.

It really is Ruth. And not just that, but you also have to factor in the ramifications of what it means if in fact they find that one of the biggest events of our time was lied about and as you stated orchestrated by our own government. It would basically require people to start thinking about everything else they have been fed and believed for years and years and years, and wonder how much of that too was lies and deceit.

For many that is hard to swallow, to face the reality of how badly they have been deceived. So rather than be faced with that cold hard reality, it's easier just to stay with what they know and are comfortable with. Ignorance is bliss as they say.

Is it just me, or are the 9/11 commemorations oddly subdued?

Actually, I don’t think it’s me, and it’s not really that odd.

What happened after 9/11 — and I think even people on the right know this, whether they admit it or not — was deeply shameful. The atrocity should have been a unifying event, but instead it became a wedge issue. Fake heroes like Bernie Kerik, Rudy Giuliani, and, yes, George W. Bush raced to cash in on the horror. And then the attack was used to justify an unrelated war the neocons wanted to fight, for all the wrong reasons.

A lot of other people behaved badly. How many of our professional pundits — people who should have understood very well what was happening — took the easy way out, turning a blind eye to the corruption and lending their support to the hijacking of the atrocity?

The memory of 9/11 has been irrevocably poisoned; it has become an occasion for shame. And in its heart, the nation knows it.
