I wish you would tell us a little about it along with the link. I don't like clicking on things if I don't know what they are about. Its a waste of time.

I'll attempt this one more time. The interview is with a Constitutional Law professor who has some every interesting things to say about how extreme rightwing people interpret the Constitution. He also warns about these same people seek to introduce alternative information about the Constitution into our schools. Anybody who belongs to the Tea Party may find this offensive. It is directed at no particular individual poster.

The tea party is starting to look like the same neoconservatives and christianists. Such a shame because neither of them will do what needs to be done to stand up for liberty.

Besides, I like tea and I don't approve of throwing it in the ocean.

I've just decided to stop paying taxes.

Jeannie, this nis an NPR interview you are going to want to listen to. http://www.npr.org/2011/08/24/139781021/the-evangelicals-engaged-in-spiritual-warfare
It tells us what we can expect if the Tea Party/Dominionist/Rick Perry coalition comes to signicicant power in America. I think it's scarey as hell. |
|
|
|
The obviousness of the danger of the tea party was evident when they started their racist sign posting and misspelled messages that were contradictory like "don't take away their medicare with socialized medicine" and stuff like that.
They have thus shown how very dangerous they are in congress to date. They will destroy this country rather than see a black president succeed. |
