Here in India we are experiencing an exotic & a nation wide movement against corruption. A single simple man has started this movement & it has become our national movement. I'm eager to know how many foreigners are aware of this man,movement & what are your views about this all. (I'm not mentioning his name purposely) Pl. let me know ....

Ghandi? Nop...but definitely TODAYS GANDHI. May be T.V channels in India are wrong to say that his movement has become famous in many countries too,but in India definitely he is favourite.

Anna Hazare, jailed activist. it means approx.25% foreigners knows him. Yup...he is SUPER HERO for Indians. His greatness is his simplicity.He is true follower of Mahtma Gandhi. Corrupt congress govt. is scared of this simple & single fellow becoz he is not alone now.

That reminds me of the part of sparticus when everyone steps forward and says, "I am Spartacus". Great pepsi commercial too if I recall correctly. But government will never dare to punish anna,bcoz whatever he is doing is all by means of NON VIOLENCE & SATYAGRAHA (meaning "holding firmly to Truth")he is not breaking law & order neither his fight is bloodshaded. In todays era when most of the youth are followers of filmy characters,players,models etc. etc. its good sign that many indian youth are now loving & following SIMPLE OLD MAN like Anna. Anna has done many wonders.May be you people will find his ways strange & funny. you also will wonder if you see that everytime he is succeeded. IT HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA.

The police have granted him permission to fast for 2 weeks in that park. He will be allowed to leave prison for this duation

Nop....he was been arrested for prohibitng him from his 'fast to death'. today he got ovewhelming response from all parts of the society. This is fourth day of fasting of this 74 years old person.He is saying that he is getting all the energy from the spontaneous response & affection of public.
