Janis Ian, I still remember the first time I heard “at seventeen” great voice Etta James, saw her at B B Kings bar in Memphis, even in her mid 60’s at the time she was wonderful Karen Carpenter, she needs no explanation Christina Aguilera, despite the super bowl debacle Dido, recorded or live she can flat out sing Nora Jones, beautiful voice Pat Benatar Tarja Turnen, you probably haven’t heard of her, but omg can she sing!
