Women want a man/partner to treat them woman and feel like a queen,

Grieving, Just because someone goes to church don't mean much. My
former church's pastor cheated on his wife w/ a married woman he was
counseling. I agree w/ you that there are some lying, cheating, no good
for nothing people - men and women - but they aren't all like that.
Your church comment made me think of this song - so I included the words
- if you read it all - it so speaks the truth.

OUTLAW'S PRAYER

You know, I worked the Big Packet show in Fort Worth, Saturday night,
We had all day Sunday to rest and relax, before I caught another flight.
So I decided to walk down town an' get myself a little fresh air.
Before long, I found myself in front of a big church on the corner of
the square.

Boy, I could hear that singin' way out in the street, sure was a
beautiful sound.
So I just walked up the steps an' opened the door an' started to go
inside an' sit down.
But before I could, a young man walked over to me an said: "Excuse me,
Sir,
"But I can't let you in with that big black hat, those jeans, that beard
an' long hair.

So I just left, went back outside, sat down on that curbing, an I
thought to myself:
That's the house of the Lord. That guy's got the hell of a nerve.
Tellin' me I can't worship anywhere I please.
So right there, in front of that Church, I just knelt down on my knees.
I said: "Lord, I know I don't look like much, but I didn't think you'd
mind.
"I just wanted to be with your people, Lord: it's been a long time.
"A while ago, a saw a wino over there in the alley, all bent over in
tears,
"An' I thought how one stained glass window, from this Church, would
feed his family for years."

"Then there's those fine cars parked outside: too many for me to count.
"Made me think how people walked for days to hear your sermon on the
mount.
"Then there's those fine ladies in the choir, Lord, singin' like they
really love it.
"Hell, last night, they were dancin' on the front row of my show:
drinkin' beer,
screamin: 'Sing Shove It.'

"You know, even John the Baptist wouldn't be welcome in this place,
"With his coat made of Camel hair an' sandals on his feet an' a long
beard on his face.
"You know, Lord, when you come back to get your children, an' take 'em
beyond the clouds,
"To live forever in Heaven with you: well, I'd sure hate to be in this
crowd.
"You know, Lord, I'm not perfect;
some even call me no count.
"But I'll tell you: I believe a man is judged by what's in his heart,
not what's in his bank account.
"So if this is what religion is: a big car, a suit an' a tie,
"Then I might as well forget it Lord, 'cause I can't qualify.

"Oh, by the way, Lord, right before they kicked me out,
didn't I see a picture of you?
"With sandals an' a beard. Believe you had long hair too."

This is why I go to a church where the pastor and his wife both wear
jeans, they don't shove a plate in your face, and the church use to be a
bar - a bar I went to and even left from and had my first one night
stand (not that I was planning on it being that). And one last thing,
thank you for calling me a lady - I do try to be a lady these days
(lol).

Well i can honestly say this with what i've gone through in my past
relationships that women want securety in all aspects and what i mean by
that is to know that the person the're with won't do anything to hurt
them or put them down but the will do anything to make their partner
happy but unfortunetly some people are selfish jackasses and think they
can manipulate anyone to get whatever they want what i do when i start a
relationship with some i ask them what they want out of this
relationship and based on what they tell me i do my best to fill those
needs and i if i can't i'll be honest and say that i can't cuz lets face
it i'm only human

I know that life is hard. Especially when your alone. I don't ask for
much from a man. Love me respect me, and please be honest with me. all
these are important, but I also believe, in order to have a relationship
that is solid, where there is trust, you must have time to yourself. I
also believe that attraction is very important, it is not everything,
but it is major.

Well LADY christiancountrygirl. U have pushed me in a corner to think.
You are a lady and I doubt U will want to proove otherwise. You are not
vexed with what I said, as some women would. U have shown me that I was
not speaking about U as the 'most women' wants. So U are a lady indeed.
How a person is NOW is what counts. Your honesty is admirable. Some of
us forget our past and beat up on others. Because a person goes to
Church doesn't mean that they do not or cannot, have sleletons in their
closet. It is true. And no human can be the perfect example 4 we do not
know what we will do in the future. I too can feel comfortable going to
an assembly which includes that type of attire. If U say that among the
three most important things that will please U is to appreciate and be
appreciated, and team work.I will believe U. And I'm sure others will.

Thanks Grieving. We've all been done wrong at one time or another and
it is easy to think that all men or women are the same and there are no
good one's left. Trust me, I've believed that about men, but I was
wrong. There are still good ones out there, it's just that there are so
many bad ones, that it makes it hard to find the good ones.

Why are woman not answering this simple question?
It would save us men a lot of time and effort.
