Do you believe that you will see the end of the world as we know it in your life time? Are you taking any steps to prepare yourself? I'm not talking about the end of life on Earth or the complete destruction of the Earth. I simply mean the break down of modern society and reverting back to a time without electricity and other modern conviences. This could be through plague, extreme weather or natural disaster, ect. I find myself caught between preparing for a life in the modern world and preparing for the collapse of the modern world. Do you ever find yourself in the same conflict? Nope. I am going to die like the rest who don't know how to pluck a chicken or make bread from wheat.

Well here in England, right now, there are petrol bombs being thrown everywhere, riot police. All we need now is an endless supply of ambulances. There's fires growing bigger. I'll be surprised if anyone has the guts to go and get their shopping done during this,

I'll be surprised if anyone has the guts to go and get their shopping done during this, Looks pretty bad over there. All is peaceful in Colorado.

Seems like you would call the military in to help the police??

With the riots in Greece and now in England, just think if this happened here in the US, where we have lots of guns. The stock market is taking a hit and it will trickle down to the rest of us eventually. The world can't exactly take a day off, what will happen if everyone is rioting over the affairs of their country? I feel like we are tearing apart at the seems. I'm also not old enough to really remember any similar events in history. So that could be partly why I worry.

There is a general discontentment all over. People are revolting and making a stand, they want change. While I don't condone any violence, I understand the frustration. I think it's all a prelude the the changes that are coming. I think it's a good thing, I just hope peopleoids can get a grip and calm down some, were are going to need each other.
