We get up each morning together to face a new day

I look up and see your face, I stare,I don't know what to say

Down the stairs into the kitchen again we meet

Together we share a meal fit for a king,what a treat

Outside and through the gate we go as we take our daily walk
how neat

At home we sit and watch your favorite TV show, Why I do I will never know

You are my best friend and in many ways I know our friendship, it wil grow

You are so true...We just lost our dog of 13 years and we miss her so much! It has been so hard without her, my kids won't even move her bowl from the yard, still on the same spot where it was when she passed away! Pets are like family but dogs are better than family, they love you unconditionally!
