Holly's a babe, and the two of you are of a similar age. You're a nice guy. Heck, I even perv Holly's profile once in a while. If I wasn't so fixated on having kids still, I might have taken a chance on her....and by CT standards, Beacon Falls is a bit of a drive for me.

You know what I've always liked about Holly's pics? The wide-open brightness in her eyes, and how it compliments her warm smile. And I like the color of her hair.

and by CT standards, Beacon Falls is a bit of a drive for me.

I had to laugh when I read this...so I looked up the land mass of Ct....4845 sq miles...the distance between Beacon Falls and Westbrook...is 59 minutes.

Texas has a land mass of 261,914 square miles. Driving 59 minutes is a piece of cake...we do that just to go to Wal Mart!

Gees if we let an hours drive keep us from meeting someone..we'd never meet anyone. And I'm not picking on you....I just get amused at the differences of people in different places

And that is so foreign to me....It takes 12 hrs to drive across Texas..I do that without batting an eyelash...but have never been on a rail service It probably would drive me nuts!!

Just like my roommate John in college....everyone from the northeast considered 30 minutes a long drive, but John was from Malibu, CA. He would say, "San Francisco is 6 hours away, and we'll go there on the spur of the moment. Half an hour is nothing!"

As I've said before, I've been turned down on other dating sites just because I lived 30 minutes away. I've lost count of how many times I've been told "I want to meet somebody closer." And one of them is a gorgeous woman with the same values and interests as myself, yet she always mentions in her profiles that she has had trouble finding a good man.

She has a profile here, amongst others, but the only site she really uses is Match. I told her, "Good luck, but if you find yourself running into more of the same, you might want to reconsider that. I have no problem driving to meet you."
