Post your worn out movie clichés here.

What we have here is a failure to communicate.
(originally a line from Cool Hand Luke, but used in other movies.) |
|

|
"Make my day..."
"Do you feel lucky? Well do ya punk?" (Dirty Harry.) |

One of the newer horror cliches is No cell phone signal, it's pretty much guaranteed that early in the movie they'll have a character check their phone and comment on lack of signal.

There is the really worn out one:
STAY IN THE CAR! Guess what follows? Rarely does the person ever stay in the car. |

Is that an ashtray in your pants?
Or are you just glad to see me? |
|
|
|
Is it the blue wire or the red wire?
(Trying to defuse a bomb.) And when do they finally defuse a time bomb? --when there is one second left on the clock. |

When running from a building that has a bomb...
It usually always blows up just seconds after they jump through a window. The ones I like are the the bombs that are delayed and they are waiting in the ditch and it does not go off. Then when they finally relax and decide it must be a dud, .. it goes off. |

How about,
You are the only one who can do this. (save the world or what ever.) Or: You are our last and only hope... |
