Their energy can be attractive. Different life priorities can get in the way of LTR's. Each person is unique, so it is quite possible to be attracted to and have good relationships with older, younger or same age. All have associated rewards and costs in both general and specific terms. In my personal case, if they are too much younger or older than me, I do evaluate things a bit more carefully going in. I was in a LTR, 10years with someone 10years younger then I..It was great, but in the end we were in 2 different places in life. We still have a great Friendship. Im a true believer in things happen for a reason,Age is just a Number afterall. =0) |

I also am careful with men who specifically say they want to start a family - even if they are older because I cannot have children..... it's kinda odd to me though, because "back in the day" when people met through family, friends, work & school - they would meet, fall in love etc first ...and then work through differences like having/not having children so I still hold on , to some extent , to that old romantic notion that "love is enough" another reason... I had a man dump me a few years ago with that "we aren't in the same place " excuse - turned out he simply met someone else closer to home - the excuse he gave had nothing to do with anything - just made up BS so ya, I have a grain of salt mentality at this point |
