Reading Revelation six
the horsemen of apocalypse
the time of sorrows
for those who remain.
A stirring comes from deep inside
the tears spill from my weary eyes;
so little time
we're left here to explain.

Walking all around I see
the tallest of majestic trees,
which speak of permanence,
long life and peace.
But soon will they be standing, charred
gutted by man's nuclear war
and I cry
for there will be no hiding place.

I hold my children closer now,
at the same time knowing how
Rachel will cry out
for her own soon.
Who will warn them what's in store,
all that they will answer for?
I see the fields;
but what can one soul do?

I feel the Spirit stir in me
I hear, "I will enable thee,
look before you,
only see G-d's son."
Focusing upon the Lord
I inhale deep, pick up my sword
step out in faith,
Messiah's will be done.

Although my heart is heavy still
Elohim promises He will
Rebuild for us
a brighter, better place
So I continue to the goal,
with those He chose to send to me
until the time
when I can see His face.
