I wrote this poem after listening to the following story.
 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w-ocLJuHRA&feature=relmfu Speechless between tears Separated by death, and crucified by time. Years given, years taken, life becomes a manifestation. Where's the balance between cause and effect. Speechless between tears. Time a masterpiece of eternity stands in disarray. Love waits patiently with arms wide open. Deaths apologetic cold kiss, and sarcastic warm embrace. Insidiously harasses life moment by moment. Speechless between tears. Life rendezvous with deaths obsession witnessed by eternity. A spiritual reunion of souls through love. Each day besieged by shadowy mercenaries. Ambiguously between the years I'm left speechless between tears. Poem: MHS©Copyright 2011 |

This poem was based on a families true heartache.

Excellent. Very expressive and heart-tugging. I would love to hear this put to music. Yes, the true story is really heart-tugging... I sometimes bang out some of my poems/songs on the piano. Maybe one day I can post some to youtube......

Well, I also dedicate this poem to Amy Winehouse:
Found dead Saturday......This brought me to tears. Speechless between tears .....  Amy Jade Winehouse (14 September 1983 – 23 July 2011) was an English singer-songwriter known for her powerful contralto vocals and her eclectic mix of various musical genres including R&B, soul, and jazz. The radio today said she lived her life the way she wanted to,,her drug use,,was HER WISH to do,,and she wouldn't let anyone tell her what to do,,as for her Music or her use of drugs,,,In this day and age,,to live your dreams,,and be set in their living way,,is to have LIVED WELL,,for how SHE thought she was living it...So as her death is very unfortunate, and way to early for US to understand,,it may be in its self,,also her wish,,as to go?,,,But she did make her mark in life and Music,,and now in her untimely death,,,she shall live-ON,,through everyone who loved not just her Music,,but also perhaps,,her desires to do her drugs,,profoundly and many will see that as her stance with coping and living her life as happy as she could be while in it?,,,But any life lost young,,is a very sad passing,,,,She is in my Prayers tonight..

And so when I here about a CHILD or BABY who has been MURDERED,,,I think of THIS WOMAN RIGHT HERE,and ANY AND EVERY STAR PERFORMER OR ARTEST IN THE WORLD,,,and FEEL,,,THAT MURDERED GIRL OR BOY,,,MIGHT HAVE GROWN TO BE THEM,,or THEIR OWN SUPER STARS,,,,but see,,THEY DIDN'T EVEN GET THE CHANCE TO ""TRY"" and be their own person yet? To ME,,,,THATS the saddest thing to ever see,know, or read about, because THEY OR WE,,,SHALL NEVER KNOW THEIR PRESENTS AS ADULTS IN THIS WORLD TO BE. |

Amy at least DONE HER OWN THING,,and made a name for her life being present here,,and thats a great accomplishment to always live-on beyond her death,,,so for THAT,,she was so greatly BLESSED to make happen,,,but the kids who are taken,,,or KILLED,,,,shall never live to see their days in the spot-light?,,So I weep for them,,,,because they never had Amy's chances to do or be... I guess I am just to much in thinking of their WHOLE LIFE LOST when I hear of their deaths?,, I lost a niece to a car wreck,,about twenty years ago,,she was just 15, her life and her face haunts me everyday,,as for her to never have married,,never known love of that kind,,and to never have just a chance to have a family of her own...I miss her still,,very much..

Any life cut short at a young age is always sad. Sorry to hear about your niece. Her life was a tragic story due to the drug addiction, but she'll live on through her music.....
