I've checked it out and I don't see the big deal so far. However, I do like the circles idea. Easier than setting up filters/privacy on facebook.

I just checked it out, looks at a glance not to bad.
Not sure where it's all going but seems like there are to many IM programs out there. Everyone has the one they like so you have to have each one just to keep in touch with some people. Can't say I like the idea of anymore of them in my life |

yeah, there are a lot of IM programs, i would rather see one that integrates all of them, so you don't need 5-10, but do like the idea of circles, it would be nice to be able to share a youtube video with friends that my mom can't see lol. the 'hangout' feature looks cool too, just not enough people on there yet
