I was there at midnight with 8 of my friends to see it in 3D. It was epic.

The only 3D part I could tell was at the beginning with the WB logo.
It was a great movie but there was a lot changed from the book which sucked :( |

Most books made into movies have to be changed a bit, I always like the books better as you get a lot more detail. I just take the movies for what they are and try not to compare them to the books too much so I don't drive myself crazy.

Well the constant degradation to Harry's character (as I saw it) was driving me bonkers. I read all books but Deathly Hallows and said no more. In this case I prefer the movie version. |

I understand... there are parts of the books that are hard for me to get through because it's like a constant shlt storm for Harry but it's all part of the entire story that I love so much.

Love the books, love the movies, will miss it, what an imagination JK Rowlings has. The last movie was great, but I liked DH part1 better, it gave us more insight into their characters.

I've seen all 8 movies in theaters, am awaiting the 8/9 disc box-set on Blu Ray, and I've read all 7 books 4 times through. Yeah, I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan! I even have all 8 soundtracks.
