Tranquility.. found in a Cedar Box
Not long ago I had to move back home, and I, at the time thought my world would come to an end My Being and all that I knew was gone, leaving scarred heart wrenching pain upon my soul. My daughter built me a Cedar Planter Box, within this box I planted my garden, and as This garden grew, my scars healed and my soul found its Tranquility once again.. My garden Has since blossomed into an incredible array of color and delightful treats…. Its amazing how a simple Cedar Box filled with love, patience and understanding can fill Ones soul with the impossible. Blessed Be....  |

I find tranquility in believing that no matter how impossible things may seem, G-d knows what's happening in the long run; that he knows the plans he has for me, to prosper me and not to harm me, plans to give me hope and a future.
I meditate on the things he has brought me through in the past, just like David did when he was in despair ... and it always gives me peace. |

Tranquility....
feet in the ocean, eyes softly focussed out past the horizon. in the garden, gently tending new seedlings as they poke their little heads through the soil. in the comforting weight of a sleeping infant in my arms, or the brush of a cat as he walks past. in the solace of my bedroom as I gaze out the window at the blue skies, and the gum trees. in that moment the sun kisses your cheek and you can't help but close your eyes. it's in here...inside...always... |

Tranquility.... feet in the ocean, eyes softly focussed out past the horizon. I miss the ocean. I feel like I'm home there, and being away from it makes me like I'm so far from home. Yes, there's some beautiful lakes around me now, but they are not the same as the ocean. |
