I've been thinking about making my own fishing tackle. Are there kits available? Is there any kind of arts and crafts kits that would be ideal for making your own fishing tackle?

I mainly want to make my own jig heads (or at least paint my own jig heads) and hollow tubes but, want to also try other things as well. I want to make tackle for freshwater shoreline fishing.

Any help on kits, material, etc. will help.

I've also been considering making some of my own fishing tackle, and here was a guide I noticed:

A DIY guide

I don't know much about fishing, since most of the fishing I do is trout pond fishing, that or simply going to the river we're close to.

But I hope that helps!

I'd also suggest some basic wire twisting, as that can be super helpful.

I have looked into it, but I don't have a garage or anything so I don't want to have to use any saws, lathes, or other power tools or equipment. If I could do stuff with hand tools that would be what I'm going for.

Wiring twisting would help, I'll look into that, thanks.

I did see kits for molding your own jig heads, but they use lead, I want to avoid lead if possible.
