Mitt Romney feels your pain.

The former Massachusetts governor and presidential candidate shared a laugh Thursday with a group of jobless Floridians as he told them, "I'm also unemployed."

Technically, that's true. Running full-time for president of the United States is, alas, not a job.

But coming from a successful businessman and multimillionaire who surely has substantial investment income, the remark quickly became fodder for Democrats -- particularly amid a partisan fight over who's more serious about the economy.

"Out of touch much ... ," declared an email from the Democratic National Committee.

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who represents Florida in the House, slammed Romney for the remark, calling it "inappropriate and insensitive."

"Being unemployed, Mr. Romney, is not a joke -- not to my constituents in Florida or to millions of Americans across the country," she said in a written statement.

Democrat-aligned group Americans United for Change called the comments a "poor attempt at humor."

To Romney's comedic credit, he got a few laughs from the Florida crowd as he noted he had his eye on a "particular job." The New York Times, which reported on the remarks, said those in the room played along, asking if Romney had gotten on LinkedIn.

"I wish I had a job for everybody," Romney reportedly told them, adding that he might be jobless "for longer than I'd like."

This guy is a turd! Can't remember if he was CEO or not, but he was involved with a business that bought out small businesses then fired the employees and outsourced the services.

Yup, he was. There is more I don't like about him. He constantly is attacking Obamacare, but he passed a law identical to it when he was Governor. He constantly flips back and forth on issues depending on the popularity polls(The reason I call him Multiple Choice Mitt) like abortion, he has changed his stance four times on it.

Don't get me wrong, if it were between him or Obama I would vote for Romney. The only candidate I would not vote for under any circumstances is Ron Paul.

It's just hard to make my mind up on the candidate who I am going to support, there is to many to choose from. All together there is 15 candidates on the Republican side that have declared and 10 or 12 more considering it. There are two on the Democratic side, including Obama. There are a few who have declared from minor political parties.

It is the most I have seen run in my entire life. I really like Michelle Bachmann, T-Pawlenty, I like Newt but he has to many skeletons in his closet, Herman Cain. I also really like Rick Perry, Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, John Bolton, Jim DeMint and Peter King.

I would really like to see either General Patraeus, Duncan Hunter Sr. or Tom Tancredo run. As far as who is closest to my political views it would be Duncan Hunter Sr. and Rudy Giuliani. Hunter is very tough on Illegal Immigration and National Security issues so is Rudy Giuliani. I also really like Jeb Bush, I wish he would run.

I also would not vote for Jon Huntsman Jr. since he was part of the Obama Administration.

I also wouldn't vote for Mike Huckabee, he is way to soft on crime. He issued a lot of pardons as Governor of Arkansas, ss governor Huckabee commuted and accepted recommendations for pardons for twice as many sentences as his three predecessors combined; in total: 1,033 prisoners including Wayne Dumond who after being commuted he brutally raped and murdered at least two women after being released.

Then there was Maurice Clemmons, who was in for bringing a 25 handgun to his high school while a student, robbed and threatened to shoot a woman around midnight with two other people in a parking lot, had extremly violent behavior at all of his court hearings even dismantled a metal door stop and hit it in his sock to use as a weapon in court, stole a lock from his holding cell that threw it at a bailiff and missed and hit his mother in court, tried grabbing a guards pistol while being transfered to court, threatened the presiding judge over the same trial and the crimes were moved from the Juvinile Court to the Adult court because of the extreme violent nature.

He was then sentanced to over 108 years in prison for the 8 Felonies he committed.

In 1999, after having served less then 10 years of his sentence, Clemmons filed a clemency appeal with Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and was granted. The decision was made over the objections of all of the victims and prosecutors involved in Clemmons' previous cases.

After being released in n March 2001, Clemmons violated parole by committing aggravated robbery and theft again in Ouachita County. He was convicted on July 13, 2001 and sentenced to 10 years in prison but since the charges were filed so late after the crime, they were dismissed.

On May 9, a Pierce County sheriff's deputy responded to Clemmons' home after reports he was throwing rocks at houses, cars and people. When the deputy tried to enter the house, one of Clemmons' cousins grabbed his wrist. After a struggle, Clemmons emerged from the house and punched the deputy in the face, and assaulted a second deputy who arrived to help. Clemmons was placed under arrest and taken to Pierce County Jail, where he continued to struggle and told jail workers, "I'll kill all you *******." He was charged with two felony assault charges and two felony malicious mischief charges, and released from jail the next day after posting a $40,000 bail bond without seeing a judge.

On May 11, around 1 a.m., Clemmons appeared naked in his living room and ordered two female relatives, ages 11 and 12, to fondle him. The two reportedly complied out of fear, and the 11-year-old fled the house afterward. Clemmons took the 12-year-old into his bedroom along with Clemmons' wife.

Then he went on to make his family strip then rape them.

He then went ape$hit went to a local diner where the local cops would go daily and killed four officers.

This guy should have never been released based on his first crimes, but Huckabee let him go and he ended up hurting and killing a lot of innocent people. In my honest opinion the blood is on Huckabee's hands, because if he didn't commute the sentance, Clemmons would still be in prison today and they would all be alive.

Well, now that Newt Gingrich's campaign has imploded, who's going to represent the Republican Death Star contingent? Bachmann or Santorum? :)

Romney's the only hope you guys have of NOT having an Obama second term. Get with the program. :)

There isn't much difference between Obama and Romney. They are both Socialist Liberals. The ony difference is Romney has experience.

God I hope Bachmann or Giuliani wins the primaries. We need to get this disaster Obama out of office asap.
