Actually I had some a little while ago. I had an insulin reaction and needed something sweet so I found some left over from breakfast, popped them in the microwave and dumped sugar on them and ate them to counteract the insulin. See, grits are good for medical purposes too. biggrin

Never thought about that, but yeah I can see where that works.. I've always ate mine with butter, cream and sugar...I have an enormous sweet tooth.

Me too but I'm diabetic. sad2 Have to take insulin 3 times a day and sometimes I forget to eat and the insulin causes me to black out unless I get sugar in me real fast.

I die. So I share a house with a couple. Doctors suggestions. They were both at work today when this one happened. I have ended up in the hospital several times because of it. I get so involved in what I'm doing I simply forget to eat.

Now that is scary..glad you have house mates. You need to set an alarm to remind you to eat..on your watch, phone, or something.

There is no set time. Depends on when I take the insulin. Sometimes it reacts fast, sometimes not.
