it might work better for you as you are looking for casual encounters - that seems the most of what is on here

which to me shows a lack of substance - but that is just me

If you really put in the effort to meet people, I think it can work, no matter if it's for dating, friends or just sex. Different things work for different people.

yes it can work and there have been great things happen like capn & eileena but that is the exception as far as I can see rather than the rule

and 'course I'd love to be an exception!!

So really tho, I do not think it works at all for most unless they are seeking casual sex or chat, or something similar to that

for me - the 1-2 messages then meet & talk thing just hasn't worked ...so far anyway - on the local level and I really don't even encourage it any more because it hasn't been productive for me

I have met a couple of fantastic guys- seriously - but they live pretty far away and such....so I just go with it and take a w/e attitude

but I really enjoy my friends in the forums............so I think it's best to leave it at whatever....

That seems to be so true this far. i haven't really figured how to use this mingle page yet and i hate wasting time talking to people who are not able to meet in person
