i got an email from a guy who says his wife died, now on other sites i used to belong to , they said their wife died as well and im thinking oh right , probably just players , or they say im dying of cancer, doh and im supposed to believe that noway

I guess you could talk to this guy and find out more.

If you want to, but one really never knows for sure if he is telling the truth or not.

In all honestly that is up to you and what you really think you should do.

I guess if it was me, I would talk some more with the guy if I was a woman that is and see what happened and keep going, who knows.

If you don't belive it then maybe it's a lie. Who knows for sure.

It's the net, any one or body could say so and so died and could you help me out etc, send cash and what not, by that point you know to stay away from them.

Not sure what else to say though.

well, i say just do not write back (ignore him)
even if it is true, who would start off meeting someone
saying all that depressing information except someone
who is looking for sympathy or something else?

There are a lot of scammers out there who like to play the sympathy card as a way of getting into your bank account. Be very very careful!

Not saying everyone is necessarily a scammer, but watch out for the ones who ask for money....
